Surdyk's Wine Consultant Noelle Starr chose these as her recommendations for the menu:
BUBBLES
Yannick Paquet Crémant de Bourgogne Brut (118743) $24.99
Cremant de Bourgogne is made in the traditional method of Champagne, and shows notes of brioche bun, apple, ripe pear, and brioche.
WHITE
De Wetshof Limestone Hill Chardonnay (117595) $19.99
This unoaked Chardonnay is fermented and then aged on its lees in stainless steel tanks, resulting in a wine that’s both beguilingly complex and lip-smackingly refreshing.
ROSE
Gobelsburg 'Cistercien' Rosé (102540) $15.99
This soft salmon-colored, dry Rosé shows summer berry, wildflower,
and striking minerality.
RED
Blood Root Pinot Noir (117402) $23.99
100% Pinot Noir from select vineyards across Sonoma County. Notes of cherry,
marionberry, dried orange peel, and rose petal offer botanical finesse to the
wine’s lively acidity.
DESSERT
Domaine de Durban Muscat de Beaumes de Venise (119183)
$17.99 [375ml]
Muscat de Beaumes de Venise is undoubtedly the best of all the Muscat wines made in Southern France, and Durban is considered the best estate. The wine is a pure delight with the distinctive Muscat flavors of flowers, tropical fruit and honey.
